Super Smash Bros Ultimate
SSBU earned a 2-0 victory over Elmira College on Monday, February 3rd. The squad of Jayden "Inari" Feliberty, Richard "OneStock" Johnson, Jade "Polestar" Fortenbacker, Garrett "Orkiwan" Davis, and Jacob "Mr. Fun and Games" Knight beat the Soaring Eagles 12-7 and 12-7 with Garrett "Orkiwan" and RJ "OneStock" leading the way. That moved the team to 2-0 in ECAC Division B play.
EA FC 25
Fabrice "whoisfabii01" Mvula fell to 1-1 in EA FC play after taking a 2-0 (6-1, 6-3) loss to M.J. from Canisius College on Monday night.
Valorant
The Mustangs Esports Valorant team is 1-1 after taking a surprise loss in ECAC Division C play to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, 2-0. The loss is the first for the defending champs from last semester, showing the new-look squad still has some work to do if they hope to retain their title.
Rocket League
The University of Delaware dealt the Rocket League team its second loss. The Mustangs fell by a 4-1 score for the second straight week. The all-basketball team of Ben "Bizzy" Francis, Miles "Ilovefotball12" Spear, DeSean "de5e4n" Trufant is still splitting time between arena and the court in the early weeks of the semester.

CFP 25
In College Football 25, Joseph "Babyjoe60" Langley grabbed a forfeit win over Bethany College.
Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2 team of Cade "Kenku" Merrill, Evan "YUNGMANCHIE" Manchester, Jamie "Cornflakes" Cole, Ian "Ryuk" Scott, and Leticionna "Lady Rein" Dalton lost for the second straight week. While the team is improving and looked better in its second match of the ECAC Division B schedule, the Mustangs fell 3-0 to Providence College.
Call of Duty
The Call of Duty team of Caden "Asylum" Bedney, Ethan "EthanCOD" Deneau, Idelmaro "Delo" Andrade, Ihzayah "Zay" Marcellus played five matches in week two.
On Monday, the Mustangs played two College COD matches against Temple and Syracuse University. They swept aside the Owls 3-0 in the first game of the night before holding off the Orange 3-1, after losing search and destroy on Skyline 6-3.
They faced #4 ranked Mars Hill University in CXP play, picking up a 3-0 win over the Mountain Lions on Tuesday. They took hardpoint on Vault 250-211, search and destroy on Protocol 6-4, and Vault control 3-2 in a sweep that was closer than the score might indicate.
On Friday, James "Kenpachi" Bergstrom filled in for Idelmaro "Delo" against Wayne State College in ECAC Division A play. The Mustangs took down the Wildcats 3-0, winning 250-34 on hardpoint with Wayne State missing its best player. The Wildcats looked better on maps two and three, but fell in search and destroy 6-2 and control 3-0.
Finally, the COD squad played its last CXP match of the week against 15th ranked Farmingdale State College. Mustangs Esports waltzed past the Rams 3-0 to start the semester at 12-0 in all three competitions combined. They are now ranked #6 in the country in CCL (College COD League) play.

Mustangs Esports is on a quest to win 60 matches this year to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Central Maine Community College. The program is 17-8 through the first two weeks of the second semester and 54-32 overall on the year. The Mustangs are closing in on their 60th victory and hope to earn it in week three!
