Super Smash Bros Ultimate

The SSBU team of Jayden "Inari" Feliberty, Richard "OneStock" Johnson, Jade "Polestar" Fortenbacker, Garrett "Orkiwan" Davis, and Jacob "Mr. Fun and Games" Knight defeated WVU Tech 2-0 on Monday, January 27^th. Map one was a close 12-10 victory with Jade "Polestar" closing things out using Ness. On map two, Jacob "Mr. Fun and Games" picked up the win in his first collegiate action. The sophomore is also ranked #15 in the state of Maine and the team has a lot of hope to contend for a national championship this semester.

EA FC 25

Fabrice "whoisfabii01" Mvula is 1-0 after week one of the spring semester, with the University of Idaho taking a forfeit loss in ECAC play.

Valorant

The Valorant team began its ECAC title defense on Tuesday, January 28^th with a 2-0 win over John Jay College. The squad has a slightly new look with Brayden "Bumble" Hiltz, Lilliana "BEANZ" Noel, Owen "Glakknar" Brousseau returning and being joined by newcomers Jacob "Prolify" Auger and Andrew "nxjang" Bishop. Key members of last semester's team, Caden "Asylum" Bedney and Kason "Marauder" Dalton, are still involved as coaches. The Mustangs took the match 13-8 and 13-6 in a straightforward match.

Rocket League

The Rocket League squad is an all-basketball affair with Ben "Bizzy" Francis, Miles "Ilovefotball12" Spear, DeSean "de5e4n" Trufant making up the three-man team. The team fell 1-4 to the heavily favored East Coast Polytechnical Institute Rams, but did manage to win the second map 3-2.

CFP 25

In College Football 25, Joseph "Babyjoe60" Langley lost 2-0 to his opponent from Bushnell University on Wednesday, January 29^th.

Madden 25

Joseph "Babyjoe60" Langley also repped Mustangs Esports in Madden 25, losing his week one match-up against Bellarmine University, 2-0.

Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 played its first match of the second semester, with the squad of Cade "Kenku" Merrill, Evan "YUNGMANCHIE" Manchester, Nolan "Galaxy Kid" Kay, Jamie "Cornflakes" Cole, and Ian "Ryuk" Scott facing Concord University. The Mountain Lions swept the Mustangs 3-0 on Thursday, January 30^th.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty team has a very busy schedule and saw that to the tune of five matches in the first official week of the semester. The squad of Caden "Asylum" Bedney, Ethan "EthanCOD" Deneau, Idelmaro "Delo" Andrade, Ihzayah "Zay" Marcellus came into the week ranked #10 in the latest College COD League poll.

They played two CCL matches on Monday, defeating NJIT and Saint Mary's University 3-0 in swift victories. They are now 4-0 in the CCL season.

On Friday, the squad started the day with a College XP match against Saint Clair College at 6 pm, an ECAC league game vs Stockton University at 8 pm, before wrapping up against the University of Central Florida at 9 pm. They won both CXP matches, beating the Saints 3-0 and the Golden Knights 3-1. In between that, they waltzed past the Ospreys 3-0.

Mustangs Esports is on a quest to win 60 matches this year to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of Central Maine Community College. The program is 10-4 through the first full week of the second semester and 47-28 overall on the year.
