Fabrice "whoisfabii01" Mvula picked up a 2-0 win over Western Illinois to improve to 2-1 on the season.
Tuesday, October 15th
Overwatch 2
The Mustangs took on Buena Vista University in Overwatch. The team won 3-1, ironically with the one map they lost being map #3 push on Esperanca, which is normally the squad's strong suit. CMCC is 2-1 having already had their bye week. This week they play American University.

Valorant
Mustangs Esports played Texas A&M University-San Antonio in their week #4 round robin match-up. It ended with a 2-0 win, 13-6 on map #1 thanks to Brayden "Bumble" Hiltz putting up a 1.68 K/D, and 13-7 on map #2. The 13 rounds given up were the most by CMCC this season. The team is 4-0 and has a bye this week, still sitting atop their group and on pace to be the #1 seed in the playoffs.

Wednesday, October 16th
Rocket League
Rocket League took on New York Technical College on Wednesday night winning 4-1. The team's only loss of the match came in map #1 when they lost a replay 3-4 in overtime after having taken a 2-1 lead before the restart. The squad hit a regain by taking the next four maps to claim the best of seven. They are now 2-1 this season.

Friday, October 17th
League of Legends
The team took a forfeit win over Binghamton University (their second forfeit victory this season) which leaves them at 3-1 with three weeks left in the regular season.
Call of Duty: MWIII
The COD squad played Heidelberg University, sweeping them 3-0. The first map was HP which ended 250-28. Caden "Asylum" Bedney went 32-5 while Chalmers "FancyReaper" Russell had 2:05 of hardpoint time. Map #2 was a 6-0 win in SnD. Control was map #3 which the Mustangs took 3-0 to finish the match. COD is 2-2 and sits 11th in the group as the top team with a .500 record.
Weekend October 19th and 20th
Valorant
The Valorant team also played in the Collegiate Valorant series (C-Val) this past weekend where they took a forfeit over Cal State University-Long Beach on Saturday and defeated Texas A&M University's team Gray 2-0 on Sunday with a pair of 13-9 wins on both maps. Mustangs Esports was seeded fourth (last) in their group and have proven their worth by starting off 2-0 and upsetting national powerhouse Texas A&M. They continue C-Val this Sunday at 3:00 pm against Brown University with a chance to top the group with an undefeated record.
