EA FC 25

The Mustangs picked up a win in EA FC with Fabrice "whoisfabii01" Mvula Jr. defeating the Southern Arkansas University MuleRiders. Fabrice now sits at 4-2 to end his season in 31^st place out of 140+ competitors.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate

It was another defeat for the SSBU team of Jayden "Inari" Feliberty, Richard "OneStock" Johnson, Jade "Polestar" Fortenbacker, and Garrett "Orkiwan" Davis, as the squad fell to Catawba College. They lost 1-2 but still made ECAC playoffs.

Tuesday, November 5^th

Valorant

Valorant finished off their ECAC regular season with a loss to Marion Tech College. It was the first defeat of the year for the team. Tristan "Mr. Brightside" Bannister filled in for Brayden "Bumble" Hiltz to join Owen "Glakknar" Brousseau, Kason "MARAUDER" Dalton, Lillianna "beanz" Noel, and Caden "Asylum" Bedney. They still received the #1 seed going into the postseason.

Wednesday, November 6^th

Rocket League

The team of Eli "Lamp Post" Rogers, Barrett "Barrett" Walker, and Bryan "Gelo" Wiers lost their Rocket League match against the Florida International University Panthers, falling to 3-3 on the year. They play their last regular season match this week with an outside shot of making playoffs after having the start of their ECAC season delayed a week.

Thursday, November 7^th

Overwatch 2

It was double-win Thursday for Mustangs Esports, starting with the Overwatch 2 team of Tristan "Mr. Brightside" Bannister, Jamie "Cornflakes" Cole, Leticionna "Lady Rein" Dalton, Ethan "ethan" Deneau, and Nolan "Galaxy Kid" Kay. They defeated Saint Francis University who was #2 in the group. The upset win secures the Mustangs the #2 seed going into playoffs.

Madden 2025

Joseph "Babyjoe60" Langley also picked up a forfeit win over Monmouth University to close out the regular season with a 3-3-1 record.

Friday, November 8^th

League of Legends

On the final day of the ECAC regular season, League of Legends fell to Mercyhurst University. The five-player League of Legends team of Owen "Glakknar" Brousseau, Brody "Akir" Edwards, Luisa "Luu" Serrano, Jireh "Azurest" Walden, and Aidan "Icy" Poitras lost the series 1-2 to the end the season 3-4 in their swiss.

Call of Duty: MWIII

Last but not least, the Call of Duty squad Caden "Asylum" Bedney, James "captainjames2005" Bergstrom, Ethan "EthanCOD" Deneau, and Chalmers "FancyReaper" Russell picked up a forfeit win over Elmira College to end their season 8^th in their group at 4-3 despite missing out on the ECAC playoffs.

"With the program having not participated last spring, this fall was about putting CMCC Esports back on the map," said Esports Coordinator Andrew Garza. "I think we did that this fall with Valorant, Smash and Overwatch all making playoffs. I'm excited to get us to 60 wins this year in the spring."

Mustangs Esports is on a quest to win 60 matches this year to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of Central Maine Community College. This .500 week #7 with a 4-4 record brings the program's total to to 33-21 at the end of the fall regular season.
