CM won their final regular-season conference home game this evening, 93-29, over the Rams of Unity College. The Lady Mustangs jumped out to a 20-0 lead and never looked back, forcing 28 turnovers, and snagging 19 steals.
The dynamic duo of Susie French and Maggie Sabine led the way for CM. Each scored 20 points, shooting over 70% from the floor. Chanel Chillers came off the bench to score 13 points and pull down 6 rebounds. Maggie McConkey chipped in with 10 points and 7 assists, and Danielle McCusker tallied 11 points in only 12-minutes of play.
CM dished out 25 assists and shot 55.6% from the floor as a team. Andrea Miller paced the Rams with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
With the win CM improves to 18-4 overall and 13-0 in the Yankee Conference. CM travels to South Portland Thursday evening for a crucial matchup vs. rival Southern Maine Community College. The women will tip-off at 6:00pm followed by the men's game at 8:00pm.
