In their last game of the first semester, the Lady Mustangs took on 4-year instate school, UMaine Presque Isle.  This was the 7th game in 11 days, and 3rd in a row for CM who finished out a gauntlet of games before the holiday break.  The Lady Mustangs looked fresher than ever, jumping out to a 57-21 halftime lead that saw numerous transition baskets without the ball ever hitting the floor.

Danielle McCusker roared back into the scoring column, hitting 7 of 10 threes to finish with a season-high 32 points. Maggie Sabine flirted with yet another triple-double, finishing with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists.  Susie French hit 4 of 5 threes to finish with 16 points, and Maggie McCocnkey came off the bench and pulled down 10 rebounds.

French, McConkey, Nohemy Aguila, and Ariel McConkey led the defensive attack that forced 20 turnovers that led to numerous transition baskets.

With the win, CM finishes the first semester 13-2 overall, and have increased their winning streak to 9-games.  The Lady Mustangs will be back in action on January 6th when they host John Abbott College.
