Central Maine CC, Junior Forward, Danielle McCusker, recently surpassed the 1,000 career point plateau in a game vs. the University of Maine at Machias. McCusker became only the third women's basketball player to eclipse this mark in the programs history. She joins former USCAA All-Americans from CMCC, Ashley Swett and Lynn Girouard in the CMCC 1,000 point club.
McCusker entered the game vs. Me.-Machias only 13 points from the mark. Scoring 10-points in the first half, McCusker only need 3 points in the second half to reach 1,000. Like she has done so many times in her career, Danielle hit a 3-point splash from the corner to reach the milestone. On the season McCusker is averaging 14.7 points per game while shooting 49.4% from the floor. With the win vs. Machias the Lady Mustangs of CMCC improved to 17-4 overall and 12-0 in the Yankee Conference, clinching the Regular Season Yankee Conference Championship.
