Tim was named to the all division team at Classical and led the state in 3 pointers.  He was named his team's most valuable player, averaging 14 points per game.

Jim played volleyball, basketball and football while attend Pilgrim High School.  He averaged 14 points a game and was a strong player under the basket.

Player's comments

Greg Holt: "I chose CM because I feel it will be a good fit for me and I like the style of play.  I also want to get a degree in education.  I think we have a chance to do some big things next year."

Tim Flanagan: "I chose to come to Central Maine because I feel it's a good fit for me and I see a lot of opportunity here.  We have a lot of pieces here and I think we have a chance to be a great team."

Jim Pina: "I came to CM because it was a familiar system that fits me and CM is a place full of opportunities.  I really want to go to school and wanted a coach who I respected and would hold me accountable.  I think CM is that place."

Comments from Men's Basketball Coach, Dave Gonyea:  "We are very pleased Greg, Tim, and Jim have selected CM to continue their playing career.  Assistant Coach Brennen Morton is responsible for recruiting in Southern New England and he certainly came through this year!   Its obvious Greg and Tim have been well coached and know there way around the court.  Greg has natural point guard tendencies and can get up and down, find the open man and penetrate when needed.  Tim walked into our gym and simply lit it up from the arc.  He is a terrific shooter!  Jim banged with one of our talented alum the other night and held his own.  He will be the physical player we are missing.  The three of them complement our already strong recruiting class."
