The USCAA has announced the first week of the basketball Coaches Poll for Men's and Women's Division I and Division II basketball....
Week 1 Results:
Men's Basketball – Division 2
CMCC – 10th
On the men's side, CM is one of 6 Yankee Conference teams in the top 10. This week's poll does not include CM's victory over #9 College of St. Josephs (73-64). The men have now won 4 games in a row.
Women's Basketball – Division 2
CMCC – 3rd
On the women's side, the Lady Mustangs are the highest ranked Yankee Conference member, 1 spot ahead of UMaine-Machias who was picked #1 in the YSCC Preseason Coaches Poll. Not included in this poll was CM's two wins over #10 UMaine-Augusta (by 34 points) and #11 College of St. Joseph's (by 51 points).
