Fatigue after an exciting emotional and physical win the night before cost the mustangs tonight as the visiting Knights from Northern Essex Community College defeated the home team 71-57. CM never got untracked trailing 40-34 at the break. The Mustangs applied full court pressure throughout the first half keeping the contest close. The Knights, behind solid inside play from Matt Sifferlen and Kyle Davis cleared the glass dominating the rebounding battle. Stifferlen led the Knights with 16 points. Darrell Wilson hit for 9 points for CM. The third game in three days tomorrow will complete the first part of the season for CM. Conference foe Paul Smiths College visits Kirk Hall tomorrow for a 12pm game. The squad then takes a much needed holiday break before traveling to Bridgton Academy November 27th and hosting rival New Hampshire Technical Institute on Thursday, November 29th.
