Auburn, ME - The Mustangs had one task left on Sunday afternoon and that was to beat Wentworth and put themselves in a good position moving into next semester. They would start the game strong grabbing a 3-0 lead but Wentworth would fight back to make it a close game. But another strong defensive effort in the 3rd period made the Mustangs prevail with a 7-4 win, putting them at an impressive 10 wins in the first half of the season. The coaching staff had this to say after the win, "Since day 1 we knew we had an incredible group, but the determination and drive to learn and get better is what makes us thrive. We still believe there is another level in our game, but we have set ourselves up nicely and will have to continue to improve and collect wins."
The team will have a much needed break after all their hard work. They will return to game action in Mid January.
