Auburn, ME – Central Maine Community College is happy to announce that Hanna Webster will be the new head coach of the Mustangs Volleyball program heading into the 2025-26 season.
"I'm pleased to have someone of Hanna's caliber leading our volleyball program," said athletic director Dave Gonyea. "She has played at a high level and has a good amount of coaching experience for a recent college graduate. We're very excited about the energy and enthusiasm she will bring to the team."
A 2025 graduate from Saint Joseph's College of Maine, Webster played four seasons on the Monks volleyball team as a middle blocker, appearing in 119 matches and 380 sets over her career. She finished fourth on the team in total blocks, fifth in kills and points, and was one of only three players to appear in all 32 matches as a senior, as St. Joe's reached the conference semifinals. Webster was also a two-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Academic honoree. Additionally, she spent three seasons as a guard on the women's basketball team, helping the Monks to back-to-back GNAC Tournament championships and appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
While attending St. Joe's, Webster coached volleyball with the Maine Juniors club program, working with their 14U and 16U Cobalt teams. There she helped the club claim three New England Region Volleyball Association (NERVA) tournament championships. Webster also coached high school volleyball training camps over her summers.
"Being able to share my knowledge of volleyball with these young athletes is such an honor," said Webster. "I look forward to helping these players learn and grow, not just on the court but as adults. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be the next head coach of the Mustangs, and I cannot wait for the season to get started!"
Originally from Alvin, Texas, Webster now lives in Auburn and works at Central Maine Community College as a Resident Director.
