Concord, NH - This past Saturday, the CMCC Mustangs traveled down to Concord, New Hampshire to take on NHTI. The Mustangs took care of business and were able to put NHTI away in three straight sets.
The Mustangs did a great job limiting their unforced errors, something much improved from the week before. This team effort showed in the stat lines, and the team hit .240. Aaliyah Smith did a great job of getting everyone involved offensively which allowed Morgan Stevens, Kaylee Reid, and Gia Cooper to each have 7, 6, and 6 kills respectively.
When asked about the win, Coach Chapman said, "We worked hard all week, trying to improve on some specific things and I was happy that we were able to execute some of those things today. We still have some things to improve, but today was a step in the right direction."
The Mustangs have a busy week coming up. They take on Northern Essex Community College on Thursday, and have a double header against Massasoit and Word of Life on Saturday.
