2025-26: As a freshman, played and started in 17 games for the Mustangs… The striker enjoyed a great first season in America, scoring 18 goals and recording two assists, finishing second on the team and sixth in USCAA DII in goals and points (38). Led the team in shots (94) and shots on goal (58)... Scored on his debut in a 3-1 exhibition win over Husson University (NCAA DIII). Tallied his first collegiate goals with a brace against ACPHS in a 4-0 victory. Recorded a hat trick the following day on the road in a 7-1 win at VTSU-Randolph. Returned home with two goals in a 9-0 thrashing of UMaine-Augusta giving Semple seven goals in four days. Had two more braces, scoring twice vs Paul Smith’s and VTSU-Randolph, recording an assist in both games. Was part of a stretch of seven games in a row with a goal, including the first four postseason games. Had the game-winner in the YSCC Tournament semifinals and championship games… Played a key role as CMCC won its fifth straight YSCC Tournament title and second straight USCAA DII National Championship.
Prior to CMCC: Graduated from Helsby High School in England… Played club soccer with Airbus UK Broughton FC in Wales. Played mostly with their academy team in the FAW North Development League in Wales after joining their U15 setup. Made his first team debut for the Wingmakers in the 2024-25 season in the NEWFA Senior Challenge Cup, scoring a goal.
Personal: Parents are Jez and Sandy Semple. Has a brother, Ben.
